On 7 October 2026, 127 IngSoft InterWatt users gathered in Nuremberg and online for this year’s user conference. With guest presentations, interactive workshops and exhibition stands, it was a day full of discussion and inspiration.

We can look back on a thoroughly successful user conference. With 127 participants attending in person and online, the event was very well attended. Many thanks to everyone for the lively discussions, the many questions and the valuable feedback. 

Valuable insights from the field 

A particular highlight this year was our external speakers:

• Christian Heddenhausen (EC Heddenhausen) demonstrated how ISO 50001 can be implemented using IngSoft InterWatt, from moving averages to the ISO structure.
• Jan Görlitz and Thomas Müller (E1) presented success stories from energy consumption monitoring, district heating network optimisation and leak detection under the title ‘Where data makes a difference’.
• Sebastian Tenholt (Müller Beckmann GmbH) and Dr Cornelia Wiesmeier (Munich RE) contributed their practical experience to the workshops.

New: Workshops where you can get involved 

For the first time, we have supplemented the lecture programme with interactive workshops. In the afternoon, participants were able to choose from two rounds, each comprising three parallel workshops. The topics ranged from AI chatbots and APIs, through analyses for PV and heat pumps, to dashboard concepts for energy management and awareness. The new format was very well received and provided plenty of scope for discussion and new ideas. 

New features to try out

At our exhibition stands, visitors were able to test two new products first-hand: our IngSoft InterWatt basic training course as an e-learning programme and our new AI chatbot. The programme of talks also focused on innovations, ranging from new features and enhancements in IngSoft InterWatt via the API to an outlook on the BSI-compliant integration of smart meters and RLM meters (AS4).

We are already looking forward to the next user conference and to incorporating your suggestions into the further development of IngSoft InterWatt.
