A day for our users
Inspiring exchange, exciting practical examples & new software functions
Once again this year, many of our users and partners came together in Nuremberg on 29 October 2025 for the IngSoft InterWatt User Conference - the specialist congress for energy and climate management. We were delighted to welcome a total of 125 guests online and on site - a new visitor record. Software innovations, tips & tricks for users and exciting impressions from the field were on the agenda. The focus of the content was therefore once again entirely on our IngSoft InterWatt software. There was also plenty of room for professional dialogue. A successful day - all in the name of energy & climate management.
Opening event in nostalgic style
We hosted the opening event on the evening before the congress: the exchange of ideas began with a historic tram ride through Nuremberg in an extraordinary atmosphere. The exclusive guided tour in the historic tram depot and the subsequent dinner offered space for inspired dialogue and a successful arrival.
A day full of dialogue and inspiration
An exciting and varied programme awaited the participants on the day of the event. Moderator Nils Hupp led through the day with aplomb.
Managing Director Karsten Reese kicked off the programme with a keynote speech on the current market situation and energy policy developments in German-speaking countries. He focussed in particular on the increasing link between energy management and climate strategies due to legal requirements and customer demands.
One highlight was the presentation of the new IngSoft Edge Remote Data Collector, which enables data collection without the need for a physical data logger. Practical relevance was a top priority: Markus Kuczmann from illwerke vkw AG demonstrated how companies can efficiently determine their corporate carbon footprint with the help of IngSoft InterWatt. Another practical presentation showed participants how IngSoft InterWatt can also be successfully introduced and utilised for large-scale projects using the example of large-scale administrative structures.
Tips & tricks for users
Practical tips for software users should not be neglected either: The presentation of helpful functions, such as pattern recognition and counter tree validation, was very well received by the audience. The topic of software performance also played an important role: one presentation conveyed concrete measures on how users can further improve their software performance.
In a final survey, participants also had the opportunity to help shape the content of our training programme for 2026.
